What to do… other than surf and SUP
Posada, perched on a limestone hill overlooked by a castle, belongs to the association of the most beautiful places in Italy. In terms of history, culture, location and landscape, Posada is one of the most charming places in Sardinia. Strolling through the old winding streets and climbing the steep stairs, you will have the feeling that time has stopped. It offers you countless, great views and photo motifs. Enjoy the evening atmosphere with a sundowner Aperol on one of the roof terraces!
At the foot of Posada is the Tepilora Nature Park, one of the largest and most beautiful green areas on the island. Here there are numerous mountain bike and hiking routes, through forests, lagoons and sand dunes and in the background rises the Montalbo. You can rent mountain bikes in the village.
This unique landscape can also be wonderfully explored on horseback. Sardinia is traditionally a horse island, there are riding stables with a wide range of offers on every corner.
Be sure to visit the beaches of Orville and Baia Sant’anna… although Nido Beach tops them all, of course.
From the neighboring town of La Caletta, in the high season, you can make great excursions by boat into the breathtaking Gulf of Orosei, where you will find beautiful rocky coves, small grottos and caves and a thousand and one postcard motifs.
